Foldover Waistband Development
The folded position should be defined before the pattern is approved. We confirm the fold depth, finished waist position, and total waistband height together rather than simply lowering a standard waistband.
A deeper fold changes both the waist position and the amount of fabric layered around the body. If you provide a reference sample or image, we can develop these proportions around your intended look.

You can adjust the fold depth, front and back waist position, inseam, ankle opening, seam placement, and waistband color.
The 82% Nylon / 18% Lycra Interlock can also be reviewed in the folded position. Because the waistband creates additional fabric layers, its final feel depends on both the fabric and the waistband construction.

If you choose another fabric, we check its stretch, recovery, and thickness against the 82% Nylon / 18% Lycra Interlock body fabric.
